MW Athletes

Amber Graupner spent much of her youth as a national level gymnast. After gymnastics, she moved to track and field where she excelled in the pole vault and went on to compete at the collegiate level for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in pole vault.

After college Amber found CrossFit and began competing. In 2011 and 2012 she qualified for the NorCal regionals. She is known as a body-weight specialist in GRID, and currently coaches at numerous gyms teaching gymnastic clinics and classes. She has been a starting member of the LA Reign for three seasons.


Cory Gibson 23 years old and a graduate student studying Exercise Science at Columbus State University. He has an A.S. in Biology from Georgia Military College and a B.S. in Exercise Science from CSU. Served as a combat medic in the National Guard for over 6 years and just last month enrolled in an Officer Candidate program here in Georgia. Cory has been doing CrossFit for over 4 years now and recently finished 14th in the South East region during the 2017 Open. I also was #2 SE/#5 worldwide in the Military service member category, as well as #1 SE/ #10 worldwide student and #1 SE/#2 worldwide in the EMT division. He enjoy ice cream, Duke basketball, and cartoons when he is not studying or exercising. 

 Billy Dunston,is a  29 year old former second battalion Army Ranger and an active bodybuilder competing with the National Physique Committee (NPC) in the Men's Physique division. He has Placed 1st in the novice class and was an Overall winner at the Oregon Pacific coast Bodybuilding show. He his currently enrolled in at Portland community college in the Fitness technologies program and works as a personal trainer with Trainer Fusion. When not at the gym you can find him going to Music festivals and playing video games.IG: BillyD275th


Jake Neubauer  has been a competitive athlete as long as he can remember. Jake played football and baseball through high school and continued his baseball career through 4 years of college. He became competitively involved in the sport of CrossFit in 2011 and hasn't looked back.  He has competed as an individual at Regionals from 2011-2015 and team in 2016. Currently a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Sacramento Fire Department with 11 years of experience and a Husband and a father of 2 beautiful girls, Jordyn and Aylin!

Sonny is a 29 year old Coach and CrossFit athlete in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated college with a B.S. in Exercise Science and soon after enlisted in the Army. After serving 4 years as an Army Ranger in 3rd Battalion down at Fort Benning, Sonny moved back to Pittsburgh. He started coaching at RAW Training as well as competing in CrossFit. He competed at the 2017 Southeast Regionals on RAW Training’s team where they finished 13th. He is married to Maria, his wife and teammate at RAW, and continues to coach, train, and compete.

Joseph Luplow is a father of one who grew up in Freeport, TX, and joined the Army in 2003. He was in the 75th Ranger Regiment, and was deployed to both Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). Joseph is ranked 16th in the nation as a middleweight in US Strongman. He's won titles as North Dakota's Strongest Man, and South Dakota's Strongest Man, and holds various state records.

Caroline Cregger is a 25 year old health coach and nutrition student. Being an athlete most of her life, she is now active in the sport of bodybuilding (women's figure division) and is starting to dabble in both Crossfit and Powerlifting. When she's not training, you'll find her nerding out to Game of Thrones, baking cookies, studying, or attending music festivals. IG: CaroCutie420

Jason Uberuaga is a two-time CrossFit Games masters athlete. He made his debut masters appearance in 2015 with a fifth-place finish in the 40-44 category, improving to a third-place podium finish in 2016. Before that, he was a longtime member of team CrossFit Spokane Valley, competing with the team at the North West Regional from 2011-2013 and helping it to a 30th-place finish at the 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games. In 2010, Uberuaga took 21st as an individual at the North West Regional. A former collegiate baseball player, Uberuaga is a police officer in Spokane, Washington.
